FAQs for Office Bleaching

How is it done ?

Done on the same day by dental professionals. Sometimes multiple visits are required if  your desired shades are not achieved. Gums are protected first.A special whitening agent is applied to your teeth surfaces and placed for about 20 minutes.

2 seasons can be done on the same day or different days depending upon the individual.

Usually after bleaching 2-3 shades lighter teeth can be achieved ,making your teeth look natural at the same time.

When to avoid teeth whitening?

  • If you have gum diseases, dental cavities, generalised sensitive teeth, then you may not be the ideal person for bleaching.
  • If you have teeth coloured caps/crowns in the froth teeth or fillings done in the front teeth.

What might happen after that?

  • Teeth sensitivity might occur immediately after bleaching while taking hot and cold food but may disappear after 48 hours.
  • After bleaching, new shade may last upto 6 months or more depending upon your food habit and lifestyle.
