This place had 100+ reviews and looked good The facilities are professional and look just like in Canada Dentist and front desk spoke perfect English, easy communication Scaling & polishing is priced on a sliding scale of how much there is to descale. 2500-4000. I asked for them to let me know the price before we started just so no surprises and I was given a price of 3000 The dentist did a quick inspection and said I have a small cavity and asked if we want to do a filling and I declined. In Canada about 8-10 months ago I believe my dentist there identified a small cavity but said its hard enough not to need a filling (yet). Scaling was done with a "ultrasonic" tool (I asked the name) that feels like a drill but isn't haha. It did the job! Total time was 30 minutes and I booked it a day in advance. A soon as I went down from the mountain I googled for an endodontist in Katmandu and rushed to Dental Life Clinic. I was very much in pain as I had infection in the tooth and bone of the jaw. I immediately felt in total trust with Dr Sama Pradhan. She decided to start to heal me immediately (with my agreement) in spite of the little time I had in Katmandu. The same evening the pain was totally gone and she kept on doing what had to be done in the days that followed and even on the very day of my departure so that I could return with a healed dentition.
